Stage 1 · Walkthrough
The space, and how you live or work in it.
Four services, taken separately or together, quoted in writing before anything is ordered.
We measure properly and plan the layout around daily use: where people enter, sit, cook, work and store things. Furniture is specified to fit the plan rather than the plan being bent around furniture someone already bought.
The space, and how you live or work in it.
Drawn accurately, to scale.
Two or three, with the trade-offs explained.
One layout, signed off before selection.
The feel you're after, in concrete terms.
Finishes coordinated as a set.
Seen in the room, at different times of day.
A document trades can order from.
Samples behave differently in a showroom and in your north-facing room at four in the afternoon. We build a coordinated palette, order physical samples, and look at them in the actual space before anything is committed.
Pieces specified to the measured plan, with lighting planned as a layer rather than a single ceiling fixture. We work to a stated budget and tell you where spending more genuinely shows and where it doesn't.
Agreed per room, in writing.
Pieces chosen to the plan.
Lead times checked before committing.
Installed and finished.
Order dates, lead times and installation.
Placed against the specification.
Deliveries and trades sequenced.
Snagged, styled and handed over.
A design only survives installation if everyone works from the same specification. We hold the schedule, confirm lead times before orders are placed, and coordinate deliveries and trades so the painter isn't waiting on a floor that arrives three weeks late.
A free consultation on the space and what's actually wrong with it.
